Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Metallurgist and Engineering Manager to join our team at Green Folk LTD. As a key member of our foundry and manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our castings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Metallurgical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to our production team on metallurgical processes, including alloy composition, grain refining, degassing, and fluxing.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of quality in our castings.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to achieve our manufacturing goals.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of a degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a foundry or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of metallurgical processes and quality control procedures.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of metallurgy and materials science, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
