Senior Radiography Leader - General X-ray Department

The successful applicant will lead a team of radiographers in the General X-ray department, overseeing the clinical duties and ensuring that patients are seen efficiently and in a timely manner.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate staff and promote good working relationships within the multi-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have post-qualification experience, with a strong understanding of clinical governance and quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities
  • To lead a team of radiographers, ensuring that patients are seen efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • To oversee the daily workload, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources as needed.
  • To ensure that staff have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • To promote good working relationships within the team, and with other departments.
Key Requirements
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate staff.
  • Post-qualification experience in radiography.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work under pressure, and to prioritize tasks effectively.
