Job Title: Head of Nursing - Children's Community Services

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nursing professional to lead our Children's Community Services team. As Head of Nursing, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people in our community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience of working in community settings. You will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of nursing professionals. You will also have a deep understanding of the needs of children and young people, and be able to develop and implement effective care plans to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Children's Community Services team
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of children and young people
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways for children and young people
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Midwife with a strong background in community nursing
  • Experience of working in leadership and management roles, with a track record of success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of the needs of children and young people, and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans
