Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Forklift Trainer and Safety Expert to join our team at MM Flowers. In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs for various types of material handling equipment (MHE) to our on-site operations team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MHE training and operation, with a strong focus on safety and compliance. As a key member of our Training Team, you will work closely with the safety and planning teams to identify training needs and improve overall warehouse safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver customized training programs for MHE operators, focusing on safety and compliance.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions to certify employees in the safe operation of MHE and pre-use checks.
  • Assess and evaluate trainees' performance to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate training records and certification documentation.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to identify areas for improvement and implement new training initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for future improvements.

Estimated Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
