Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified social worker to join our Children's Care Management Team as a Team Manager. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a children's social work team and will be responsible for supporting children in care who have had adverse and complex experiences.
The team works closely together to ensure the safety of children, and the successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the clinical lead to redesign the service to effectively address the key priority of early permanence for all children.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting children in care who have had adverse and complex experiences, leading to additional emotional health needs and attachment strategies.
- Working with a jointly commissioned multi-agency team to help children maintain placement stability and find early permanence.
- Redesigning the service to effectively address the key priority of early permanence for all children.
- Assisting in the day-to-day management of the service alongside the clinical lead.
- Representing the service at various decision-making panels to ensure care is provided for children with additional emotional health needs.
- Attending Child Permanence meetings and Placement Disruption meetings to support the permanence agenda.

Requirements
- A DipSW or equivalent qualification
