Job Summary:We are seeking a Technology Transfer Manager with experience in tech transfer, intellectual property management, and commercialisation of research in the medical, health, and life science sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects related to IP management and commercialisation
- Work with legal and patent subcontractors to resolve IP and commercialisation cases
- Gather data and provide analysis to support business cases for IP commercialisation
- Facilitate and deliver training for researchers on IP and commercialisation
- Work with internal and external legal advice to review collaboration agreement issues
- Ensure appropriate management of IP for specific cases
- Support other team members with technology transfer activities
- Support industrial partnerships and the reagents portfolio
- Provide entrepreneurial training and support due diligence reviews
- Degree in life sciences with a business or law qualification (advantageous)
- Significant experience in technology transfer and commercialisation of complex IP and patent portfolios
- Experience in negotiating commercialisation licences and spin-out creation
- Ability to communicate complex information regarding intellectual property and commercialisation
- Experience in a customer-facing service role with a wide range of active projects
- Experience working with external legal counsel and patent agents
- Experience delivering IP-related training to scientists
- Experience reviewing research funding applications and performing due diligence checks
- Competitive salary: £47,300+ PA

This is an office-based, hybrid role with an expectation for all employees to attend our offices in Victoria, London, usually worked as 1 to 2 days per week, and may increase, subject to team requirements.
