Financial Reporting Manager

Rutherford Cross is delighted to partner with a high-growth entrepreneurial business in Lanarkshire to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager.
The company has experienced rapid expansion, growing 10x in size over the last 4 years through M&A activity and organic growth. Reporting to the Head of Reporting, this opportunity allows you to join a highly successful business at a pivotal point in its trajectory.
This organisation has a proven track record of staff development, providing a chance for the appointed individual to grow with the business and acquire a wide range of skills in the role.
We are seeking candidates who have qualified in big 4/mid-tier audit and gained post-qualification experience within an industry setting. Our client requires individuals who possess a deep understanding of financial accounts, as well as strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen to effectively communicate with non-financial stakeholders and produce meaningful management information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate monthly management accounts – P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow Statement. Remove intragroup revenue, debtors, and creditors for accurate reporting to the Board and stakeholders.
- Consolidate Group cashflow forecasts, performing Net Working Capital reviews and analysis to support Group short- and long-term objectives.
- Report Balance Sheet trends and analysis, owning quarterly reviews with stakeholders.
- Interrogate Commercial team's monthly reporting packs and commentary.
- Support annual reports and policies reviews.
- Ensure documentation on internal controls and collate SAO return documentation.
- Adequate planning and compliance with statutory returns and accounting regulations.
- Monitor banking or funding covenants compliance and ensure consideration in budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Support new software rollout and process improvements within the Group.
- Lead continuous improvement in the business, maximising efficiency and timeliness of reporting.
- Collaborate with various departments and provide ad-hoc costing and financial support where required.
What We Offer
Our client offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
