The hospital is a leading provider of healthcare services in Norfolk, catering to a population of 230,000 residents.

This leadership role plays a pivotal part in shaping the Trust's strategic vision and delivering exceptional care across Emergency Care, Acute Medicine, and Diabetes Care.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for quality governance, clinical standards, patient experience, and effective service delivery across the UEC portfolio.

This dynamic role involves being a key member of the Senior Divisional Nursing Leadership team, supporting and driving the delivery of the Trust and Divisional strategic direction.

About the Role

In collaboration with the Lead Nurse and wider Matron team, the post holder will lead excellence in patient care and professional practice, ensuring consistently high standards of care.

This role contributes to national and local quality and clinical performance indicators, working closely with clinical and non-clinical leads to support and deliver safe and effective care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inform and support the delivery of the strategic direction and overall provision and management of Emergency Care within the acute setting.
  • Provide professional leadership to all nursing and AHP staff at all levels within their responsibility, ensuring high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical leads to support and deliver safe and effective care delivery.
Estimated Salary: £62,500 - £82,000 per annum
