We are seeking a High Voltage Installation Professional to join our team at National Grid plc. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, testing, repairing, and replacing overhead lines and equipment.

You will work at heights, ensuring the safe operation of our network and contributing to the delivery of heat, light, and power to millions of people. Key responsibilities include constructing, testing, repairing, and replacing overhead lines and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and alter overhead lines, install pole-mounted plant, and run cables.
  • Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repairs of overhead equipment.
  • Record asset routes, details, and positions.
  • Locate and identify cables, test insulation and continuity.
  • Work in all weather conditions and follow safety instructions.
  • Meet deadlines and use protective equipment.

Compensation:

  • A competitive starting salary of £17,649 per annum.
