Clinical Governance Facilitators Role Overview

The Clinical Governance Facilitators role is a key part of the Clinical Governance & Risk Team at NHS Shetland. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and technical support for a range of clinical governance activities, including clinical audit, clinical effectiveness, and patient surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with the management of risk and adverse event reports
  • Provide administrative support for the Clinical Governance & Risk Team

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good understanding of clinical governance principles and practices

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time role, working 29.7 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work from the NHS Shetland offices.
