Job Title: Principal Civil Engineer

Flagship Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits. You will be based in one of our UK offices, with opportunities to work from home and travel to client sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design and asset management projects, ensuring quality, sustainability, and safety standards are met.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies, including resource planning and fee estimation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in RC design and detailing, including water retaining structures and foundation design.
  • Knowledge of computational analysis techniques and software, including BIM.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients and colleagues.
