Service Care Solutions is seeking a Physics Teacher to work in a College in the Salford area on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in key College processes as required.
- Act in accordance with college policies.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
- Teach related courses in accordance with the college timetable.
- Provide accurate reports and information as required by college quality assurance procedures.
- Provide books, materials, and facilities within the allocated budget.
- Prepare internal assessments, ensure consistent marking throughout the department, and provide related statistics and comments on performance for the Head of Department.
- Be aware of developments in your subject in High Schools and keep High Schools informed of courses here, participating in liaison and recruitment activities both in College and High Schools.
- Carry out other routine and ad hoc administrative tasks as directed by the Head of Department/Head of College.
- QTS.
- Recent experience of teaching level 3.
- Experience of reflecting on and improving teaching practice to increase student achievement.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively and act upon the information.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex student data to drive lesson planning and student attainment.
- Commitment and responsibility to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
- Ability to pass DBS check.
