Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Concrete4Change. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for leading our fundraising efforts, overseeing our capital structure and budgets, and managing our accounting and finance activities.

About the Role:

  • Lead the £25 million fundraising of series A by 2026
  • Work with the executive team to strategise fundraising and oversee the capital structure and budgets
  • Manage the accounting and finance activities, covering £5 million

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of experience in the financial management of startups or venture capitals
  • Extensive experience leading fundraising or investment for startups - more than £10 million
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience and understanding of deep tech startups
  • Experience with CCUS or net zero technologies
  • Knowledge of grant applications, and collaboration opportunities within the public sectors
