Job Title: IT Director

The role of IT Director is a critical position within our organisation, responsible for the delivery of both business-as-usual IT services and the continued development of our IT transformation strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven IT leader who thrives working within professional environments, is a believer in coaching and managing high-performing teams, and has experience with being part of a senior leadership team.

Your day-to-day:

  • Provide day-to-day management of the internal IT function, leading a team of 8 IT specialists to deliver excellent IT services to our end-users.
  • Deliver across the full scope of our IT, including infrastructure, cloud applications, business systems, cyber security, and ERP and CRM applications.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of our IT strategy, including managing budgets.
  • Drive innovation and technological advancement across the organisation.
  • Continue our organisation's transformation project.
  • Lead our organisation's cybersecurity efforts to ensure best practice cyber resilience.
  • Lead our organisation's IT training function, ensuring everyone in the organisation is making the most out of applications and systems.

About you:

  • Experience leading and managing an IT team in a Microsoft tech stack environment, including task management, objective planning, and performance management.
  • Experience with developing IT strategy and budget management.
  • A proven understanding of cybersecurity, including experience with strengthening organisational security and working towards accreditations.
  • Experience delivering a successful ERP system implementation.
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of system implementation, from procurement, evaluation, and programme management.
