Job Summary

As a Forest Ranger at Center Parcs, you will play a vital role in the management and maintenance of our forest landscapes. This includes ensuring the health and safety of our guests and staff, while also promoting conservation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Grounds Services Manager in the effective management and supervision of the forest landscape.
  • Actively promote conservation aspects and support the Senior Forest Rangers with key tasks.
  • Develop and maintain an effective working team, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe working condition.
  • Maintain ornamental landscaping, including weeding, pruning, and bark mulching.
  • Maintain interior landscaping as required.
  • Manage grass and forestry work, including thinning operations and habitat creation.
  • Manage waterways and ensure the overall health and safety of the forest ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in land management and conservation.
  • Strong knowledge of forestry and horticulture practices.
  • Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
