Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Microwave Design Engineer to join our team at Leonardo. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative microwave designs that meet our challenging customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop microwave circuits and systems using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met and products are delivered on time.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide feedback to ensure design quality and consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in microwave engineering.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in microwave design and development, with a strong understanding of RF and microwave principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Keysight ADS, Microwave Office, CST Microwave Studio, Ansoft HFSS, or Siemens EDA Mentor.
  • Experience with RF test methods and equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and RF sources.
