### Job Title: Buyer

#### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join our Supply Chain team at RLC Langford Lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing a range of components, materials, equipment, and services.

#### Key Responsibilities

* Establish and develop supplier relationships while continually reducing total acquisition costs
* Manage delivery flow of parts and services and communicate issues to manufacturing cells
* Responsible for the sourcing of a range of components, materials, equipment, and services

#### Qualifications

* Degree qualified, CIPS qualified, or relevant hands-on experience
* Essential Experience: Minimum 3 years hands-on experience within a similar role in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record in the execution of buying, forecasting and replenishment, SIOP, RCCP, MPS, MRP, where customer requirements can change regularly
* Must have a proven track record of hands-on experience & excellent working knowledge of MRP & ERP systems

#### Desirable Skills

* Aerospace/Precision Engineering environment experience
* CIPS membership or working towards
* Excellent communication and negotiating skills
* Experience in new product introduction and supplier assessment would also be beneficial

#### Working Hours

* Monday to Thursday 0800-1630, Friday 0800-1300
