We are seeking a skilled Audit Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality audit services to clients in the financial services sector.

Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a key leadership role within our team. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing all aspects of audit services delivered to clients, including managing budgets, identifying business development opportunities, and contributing to the growth of our practice.

You will have significant experience of auditing within the financial services sector, including businesses within one or more of the asset management, capital markets, and insurance sectors. Your knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements will enable you to provide expert guidance to our clients and ensure that they receive high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct all aspects of audit services delivered to clients, including managing budgets and identifying business development opportunities;
  • Contribute to the growth of our practice through the development of new business relationships and business proposals;
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on audit matters;
  • Manage and develop staff, including coordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling, appraising, recruiting, etc.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent;
  • Significant experience of auditing within the financial services sector, including businesses within one or more of the asset management, capital markets, and insurance sectors;
  • Knowledge of the CASS rules and experience of client money and assets audits, reporting to the FCA;
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements;
  • Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
