About the Role:

  • Oversee the daily maintenance and upkeep of the school buildings and grounds.
  • Carry out routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure the facilities remain in good condition.
  • Manage security, including the opening and closing of the school premises.
  • Liaise with external contractors for larger maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Assist with setting up rooms and equipment for school events and activities.
  • Respond promptly to any emergencies or urgent maintenance issues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Practical skills in general maintenance and repair work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
