Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Class 1 Driver to join our team at SolviT Recruitment LTD. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times, completing daily checks, and reporting any vehicle defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, complete daily checks, and report any defects.
  • Loading and Delivery: Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
  • Delivery and Customer Service: Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner, provide excellent customer service, and obtain relevant signatures and paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Class 1 licence, Current DQC card, and Digital Taco card.
  • Experience: At least 12 months experience on UK roads.
  • Driving Record: No more than 6 points (no IN DR or DD codes).
  • Physical Fitness: Physically fit.
  • Customer Service: Great customer service skills.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: Between £15-£17 per hour.
  • Payment: Weekly pay via SolviT Recruitment LTD.
