About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at The Highfield Company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment
  • Conduct regular site audits to monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure health and safety considerations are integrated into project planning and execution
  • Provide training and guidance to project staff on health and safety procedures and protocols
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in a similar industry or sector
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards, including CDM and ISO 45001
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform health and safety strategies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
