Portfolio Operations Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Operations Analyst to join our team at the British Business Bank. As a key member of our portfolio management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our portfolio administration and direct valuation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain robust financial models to value our direct investment portfolio, ensuring compliance with policies, external statutory guidance, and industry best practice.
  • Manage data collection requirements to ensure all relevant information is considered in the monitoring and valuation of our portfolio companies.
  • Assist in the preparation of analysis and reporting output packs for quarterly meetings.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including investment and central teams, to ensure seamless portfolio management.

Requirements:

  • Strong data analysis, interpretation, and judgement skills.
  • Experience in reporting to various stakeholders and interpreting technical requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software and other relevant tools.
