Care and Support Worker

Cornerstone Healthcare Group specializes in providing care for vulnerable individuals with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs. Our homes cater to those who require specialized support due to challenging behaviors associated with these conditions.
Our facilities offer a safe and supportive environment, prioritizing the unique needs of each resident. We have four locations currently and are expanding to new services in Bristol in early 2025.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year's experience working in care within the UK (essential)
- Experience working with adults presenting with complex needs, including challenging behaviors and mental health needs
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their families
This position offers a 7 out of 14 day working pattern, allowing for a healthier work-life balance. The schedule consists of:
- Week A: 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) - 07:45 to 19:45
- Week B: 4 days (Monday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) - 07:45 to 19:45
Total average hours worked per week: 38.5
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Healthcare Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting daily living activities, such as personal care and mealtimes
- Observing resident progress and reporting changes in condition or care needs
- Respecting residents' rights to choice, privacy, and dignity
- Communicating effectively with staff and other members of the team
