Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our client's team at their Westhill offices. This full-time, permanent position will play a key role in the design, testing, and quality management of existing and new electronics components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex electronic circuits for test purposes
  • Support the ongoing development of wireless technology and delivery of new and advanced downhole technology for oil & gas well applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware and software into downhole tools
  • Develop and maintain a fundamental understanding of downhole technology in the oil and gas sector
  • Apply relevant programming skills, including C programming languages and LabVIEW electronics development experience
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent in experience or training
  • Relevant programming skills, including C programming languages and LabVIEW electronics development experience
  • Fundamental understanding of downhole technology in the oil and gas sector
  • Experience in developing downhole tools with regards firmware and software integration
  • Ability to build basic electronic circuits for test purposes
  • Ability to design and evaluate complex electronic circuits
  • Understanding of sensor, data gathering, and distribution of data to various sources
  • Ability to learn and apply to new projects and technical challenges
