Your Job Duties May Include:
- Interact with guests in an efficient, hospitable, and professional manner
- Demonstrate full knowledge of bar and menu items
- Assess guests' needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Follow up on guest requests throughout service
- Immediately communicate any food or service issues to management
- Maintain proper set-up and cleanliness of station and service areas
- Deliver elements of service within established timeframes
- Verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age
- Demonstrate accuracy in transactions and cash-handling skills
Job Requirements:
•Possess strong interpersonal, problem identification and problem solving skills, verbal, and written communication skills;
•Willing and motivated to learn new skills, tasks, and software systems to meet the changing demands of the industry;
•Flexibility to work varied shifts to include days and nights, weekends and holidays;
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
•Ability to follow all cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices as mandated by the company and local regulatory agencies;
•Computer literacy with the ability to learn Aloha Point Of Sale System;
•Accuracy in transactions and cash-handling skills;
•Exhibit a positive attitude;
•Able to obtain relevant training certificate and/or licensure;
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, and/or walk often. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work is performed in a kitchen and theatre environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high with an occasional loud environment. Education Required:
•Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities;
•High school diploma preferred
