Engineering Director

Tiger Resourcing Group seeks an experienced Engineering Director to oversee the development and delivery of high-quality products within the Battlespace, Datalinks, and Spectrum Monitoring Systems markets.

This full-time permanent position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring at least 3 days in the office.

The successful candidate will drive engineering initiatives, supporting New Product Introduction and Revenue-Generating Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing key engineering projects, including NPI and revenue-generating initiatives, while managing risk logs, action logs, and resource planning.
• Leading a team of multi-disciplinary engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that supports personal and professional growth.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for engineering across the product lifecycle, coordinating with departments like Business Development, Production, and Customer Support.
• Implementing new tools and processes to enhance departmental efficiency and KPI tracking.
• Managing contractors, external design houses, and subcontractors to ensure projects meet quality and delivery expectations.

Requirements:

• Experience: Project/line management role within engineering, ideally in a small-to-medium-sized business.
• Technical Insight: Solid understanding of engineering tasks and technical requirements, particularly within an ISO 9001 environment.
• Leadership and Organisation: Strong organisational skills, with experience managing resources, action plans, and risk assessments.
• Qualifications: A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (or equivalent experience).

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per annum, depending on experience. Estimated salary based on market trends.
