About the Role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at Arctic Wolf, a leader in security operations. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the technical relationship with customers and providing exceptional service to ensure their security needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Interact with customers as a technical representative and first-level provider of security services, providing timely and accurate support.
  2. Analyze security events based on various data points, identifying potential threats and recommending mitigation strategies.
  3. Develop and maintain security governance, standard operating procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance and best practices.
  4. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security for customer environments, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
  5. Monitor systems for irregular behavior and implement preventive measures to minimize risk.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of network, cloud, and endpoint security.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
  • Ability to analyze complex security incidents, identify root causes, and develop effective remediation plans.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and vulnerability management tools.
