Precision Machinist

Our client, a leading provider of engineering services, is seeking an experienced 5 Axis CNC Machinist to join their team based in New Addington, South Croydon.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of 5 Axis CNC machining and will be responsible for programming and operating an XYZ 5 axis CNC machine with a Siemens control.
Key responsibilities include producing nuclear and aerospace standard products in small quantities, typically from 5 to 20 off, and performing in-process inspection.
Experience of off-line programming in HyperMILL is desirable, but training can be provided.
The role also involves controlling potential cross-contamination of materials and adhering to quality control standards and processes.
Materials machined are predominantly Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and Titanium, with other alloys and plastics also machined.
The work is largely produced for incorporation in Centronic products or as a sub-contract machining service.
