About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a key member of our Homelessness Service, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers who have faced homelessness to achieve their full potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to customers, empowering them to make informed decisions and take control of their lives.
  • Assess customer needs and develop personalized support plans to address their unique challenges and goals.
  • Act as a first point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, respecting their autonomy, dignity, and personal choices.
  • Liaise with external agencies to enhance customer confidence, health, and wellbeing, and promote opportunities for education and employment.
  • Respond to emergency situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality records of customer interactions and progress.
Requirements
  • Experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently, with a flexible attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong literacy and numeracy abilities.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards is essential.
