Job Opportunity:

Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Tiger Resourcing Group. This is a challenging role that requires a high level of expertise in electrical design, with a focus on complex cable and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of markets, including defence and complex industries. You will work closely with our clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in electrical design, with a strong understanding of compliance standards such as IEC 62368 and BS EN Standards. You will also need to have experience with electrical drawing software, preferably SolidWorks Electrical or similar.

Desirable Skills:

We are looking for someone with a strong skill set, including:


• Ability to translate customers' requirements into designs that satisfy the requirements specification.


• Experience in design for manufacture and testing.


• Ability to simulate, prototype, conduct experiments, analyse and interpret test data.


• Ability to generate and review relevant design documentation.


• Component selection and bill of material creation.

Working Environment:

This is a 3-day per week on-site role in Fareham, with the remaining days working from home. You will need to have a BPSS clearance to be considered for this role.
