Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our client's national vehicle business.

This role involves providing technical advice, service, and maintenance to customers on Ford and other brand vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have considerable skill and recognition as a qualified Vehicle Service Repair Technician and be able to work without close supervision.

About the Role

Job Type: Permanent
Salary: OTE £40K per annum

In this role, you will deliver high-quality customer service by ensuring all Smart Repairs undertaken are on time and meet the highest standards.

You will also motivate technicians to ensure a high level of productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical advice, service, and maintenance to customers on Ford and other brand vehicles.
  2. Assist senior and master technicians and undertake learning and development as prescribed.
  3. Maintain comprehensive records and ensure colleagues do the same.
  4. Commit to ongoing learning and development.
  5. Deliver services in the most resource-effective manner possible.
  6. Ensure technicians' skills and knowledge are up-to-date through supervision, training, and guidance.
  7. Demonstrate ability to support, coach, and counsel junior team members.
  8. Hold a full driving license with fewer than 9 penalty points.
