We are seeking an experienced Industrial Fabricator to join our team at ASF Engineering Ltd in Ballymena, BT42 4QJ. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating a wide range of products, including steel, aluminium and stainless steel street furniture, gates, handrails, and general metal fabrications.

The successful candidate will have 3 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication, with expertise in MIG and TIG welding, sawing, punching, shearing, drilling, folding, and CNC profile cutting. They should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work from drawings and operate modern machine tools.

About the Role
As an Industrial Fabricator, you will work in a new modern workshop with excellent facilities, where you will be responsible for fabricating a wide range of products, including park benches, litter bins, cycle shelters, bollards, and bespoke fabrication projects. You will work closely with our design team to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • MIG and TIG welding of steel, aluminium and stainless steel materials
  • Sawing, punching, shearing, drilling and folding of metal components
  • CNC profile cutting and other fabrication tasks as required
  • Work from drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production

What We Offer
In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary of £31,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, free parking, 6 weeks annual holiday, and a 3 day weekend.
