We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and young people, including neuropsychological evaluations and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy, to address a range of mental health issues.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to junior psychology staff and other professionals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement service-wide initiatives and policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide quality improvement initiatives.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist who possesses the following qualities:
- Good honours degree in Psychology and registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Postgraduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Substantial post-qualification experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Experience of clinical supervision and training of junior psychology staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
