We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across the region.

About the Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will be required to work independently, using your own initiative to manage your delivery route and ensure timely delivery of mail and parcels. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers across the region
  • Manage your delivery route, using your own initiative to ensure timely delivery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. You will also need to be physically fit, able to walk for long periods and work in any weather conditions.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr. You will also receive overtime pay at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate, as well as 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata). In addition, you will have access to a company pension scheme, full uniform provided, and lots of opportunity to develop a career, including our trainee manager roles and Apprentice Schemes.
