As a General Foreman, you will play a key role in supporting the Rail business and helping to expand our capability and geographical presence as a tier 1 contractor working for Network Rail and other Rail clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver work packages to agreed programmes and liaise with operational delivery teams.
  • Attend regular meetings to ensure clear communication channels are in place, to report on progress; identify problems and any keep records of any variations to the scope of works both internally and externally.
  • Oversee the co-ordination of operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers in your section of works in a planned and controlled manner ensuring efficiency and minimising costs.
  • Ensure the project is safely delivered on time, to budget and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role within the highways and rail sector.
  • CSCS card holder.
  • SMSTS and First Aid.
