Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Totally Urgent Care. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our multi-professional teams.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise as a clinical practitioner. You will be responsible for assessing the health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations, and using your advanced clinical practice skills to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the clinical teams and provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior staff
  • Carry out consultations with patients, taking a comprehensive patient history, and using your expert knowledge and clinical judgement to identify potential diagnoses
  • Decide on and carry out treatment, including prescribing medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols
  • Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist qualification
  • Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (equivalent or higher)
  • Clinical skills qualification at degree level
  • Evidence of completion of study in minor illness, minor injury, paediatric minor illness, or paediatric minor injury
  • Independent prescriber qualification
