We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our client's inpatient Surgical ward team at a leading Acute Hospital site. The ward is primarily focused on elective surgery with occasional non-surgical patients. This is a full-time permanent position, but we are open to considering candidates seeking part-time hours opportunities.
This award-winning hospital is led by experienced consultants and supported by 24/7 RMO cover on-site. It has been rated 'outstanding' for caring and is a unique centre of excellence. The hospital has 28 en-suite single inpatient beds, 22 day-case beds, and 5 ambulatory care beds. Facilities include 9 consulting rooms, 4 state-of-the-art operating theatres, a JAG accredited Endoscopy suite, a dedicated cardiology suite, and intervention treatment room. The hospital also has a dedicated physiotherapy department with a gym and four treatment rooms.
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with NMC registration and current or recent Surgical Ward experience. Newly or soon-to-qualify Nurses with Surgical Ward placement in their final year and a desire to develop further in a multi-speciality inpatient ward setting are also welcome to apply.
