The Diversion programme is a pioneering initiative aimed at reducing women's offending and promoting safer communities. As a Diversion Keyworker, you will play a vital role in supporting women who have encountered the police and are at risk of entering the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct needs and risk assessments to identify women's support requirements
- Develop and implement holistic support plans to address women's needs and promote positive change
- Work collaboratively with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide emotional and practical support to women, empowering them to make informed choices and take control of their lives
- Manage a caseload and prioritize tasks to ensure effective service delivery
To be successful in this role, you will have a deep understanding of the issues facing women offenders and those at risk of offending. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of working with women in similar contexts, conducting needs and risk assessments, and managing complex caseloads. Your ability to work collaboratively and empathetically with women and other stakeholders will be essential in delivering this innovative programme.
