Falkirk Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support for Learning Assistant at the Advanced level. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in enhancing pupil achievement and providing teacher and pupil support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide teacher and pupil support to enhance pupil achievement
- Undertake a wide range of whole school support activities, including general supervision, safety, care, and wellbeing of pupils
- Carry out administrative tasks as required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
- Good communication, organisational, and ICT skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience of working with teenage young people, ideally in an educational setting
- Ability to undertake training in Manual Handling and First Aid
- PVG scheme membership
Working Hours and Terms:
27.5 hours per week on a term-time basis
