Northern Scotland Field Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Northern Scotland Field Service Technician to join our team at Rise Technical Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing onsite maintenance engineering support to clients in Northern Scotland.
About the Position
This full-time, permanent position involves travel to client sites across Northern Scotland and occasionally other parts of the UK and Ireland. You will be working as part of a close-knit team, reporting into a site-based engineer. The successful candidate will have experience in fault finding and troubleshooting industrial biomass steam boilers, planned maintenance and servicing work.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide onsite maintenance engineering support to clients in Northern Scotland
- Fault find and troubleshoot industrial biomass steam boilers
- Perform planned maintenance and servicing work
- Travel across Northern Scotland and occasionally other parts of the UK and Ireland
Person Specification
We are looking for an individual with a strong academic and working background within mechanical and/or electrical engineering. Previous experience in a field service role and customer-facing position is essential. Any knowledge of boiler servicing or biomass systems is desirable but not mandatory. A willingness to travel and work independently is also required.
Salary and Benefits
