Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Northern Scotland Field Service Technician to join our team at Rise Technical Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing onsite maintenance engineering support to clients in Northern Scotland.


About the Position

This full-time, permanent position involves travel to client sites across Northern Scotland and occasionally other parts of the UK and Ireland. You will be working as part of a close-knit team, reporting into a site-based engineer. The successful candidate will have experience in fault finding and troubleshooting industrial biomass steam boilers, planned maintenance and servicing work.


Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Provide onsite maintenance engineering support to clients in Northern Scotland
  2. Fault find and troubleshoot industrial biomass steam boilers
  3. Perform planned maintenance and servicing work
  4. Travel across Northern Scotland and occasionally other parts of the UK and Ireland

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a strong academic and working background within mechanical and/or electrical engineering. Previous experience in a field service role and customer-facing position is essential. Any knowledge of boiler servicing or biomass systems is desirable but not mandatory. A willingness to travel and work independently is also required.


Salary and Benefits
