Scrub Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrub Nurse to join our team in a leading hospital in London. As a Scrub Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures in Gynaecology, Urology, and Robotics.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgical procedures.
- Ensure specimens are correctly labelled and dispatched.
- Control cross infection by adhering to departmental policies.
- Participate in induction and orientation programmes for new staff.
- Prepare patients for clinical/operative procedures.
- Provide assistance in clinical/operative procedures.
- Take charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner.
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate peri-operative patient care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to junior and less experienced staff.
- 1st level registration Adult and/or Children or relevant Diploma/Degree.
- Previous perioperative experience in Gynaecology, Urology, and Robotics (at least 6 months robotics experience).
- NMC or HCPC registration.
- Ability to deliver high standards of care.
- Knowledge of current professional nursing issues.
- Annual salary of £36,000-£43,500.
- Starting bonus of £3,000.
