Physiotherapy Assistant Role at Spire Healthcare

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Spire Yale Hospital in Wrexham.

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced physiotherapists to provide exceptional patient care and support. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist registered physiotherapists on the ward, ensuring patients receive timely and effective treatment.
  • Support the progression of patient mobility after surgery and facilitate smooth discharges.
  • Participate in exercise classes, promoting physical activity and well-being among patients.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, consultants, and hospital teams.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and order equipment as required.
  • Conduct assessments to identify the health and wellbeing needs of patients.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness in the physio department, contributing to a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a physiotherapy assistant role is highly desirable.
  • A strong level of IT skills is essential for effective communication and data management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • The ability to deliver exceptional patient care is paramount.

We offer a competitive salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including:
