We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Cancer Specialist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Childcare Oncology, you will be responsible for providing tertiary care to children in the East of England Region.

The successful applicant will join a well-established team of 4 full-time Paediatric Oncologists and two University Professors, as well as three Paediatric Haematologists and one Palliative Care Consultant. You will work closely with these colleagues to provide high-quality care to patients and their families.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills and experience in paediatric oncology. You will have access to strong academic links available for cancer research in Cambridge, through the Biomedical Research Centre, MRC and CRUK Cambridge Centre.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A degree in medicine or equivalent qualification.">
  • Registration with the GMC as a fully qualified doctor.">
  • A CCT in Paediatric Oncology or equivalent.">
  • Experience working in a similar role within the NHS.">

About the role:

This is a substantive post, commencing from March 2025, with a salary ranging from £105,504 to £139,882 per annum pro rata.

">

You will be based at Addenbrookes Hospital, one of the largest Primary Treatment Centres in the UK, receiving around 150 new referrals per year for childhood malignancy.
