Job Title: Education Consultant - Edinburgh

Contract Type: Casual

Working Hours: Up to 20 hours per week

Location: Edinburgh (on-site)

Salary: per hour plus uncapped commissions

Overall Purpose of the Job:

United Kingdom Education Centre is seeking a dynamic and highly driven individual to promote international education and achieve sales targets.

The Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruit international students and assist the team to achieve recruitment targets.
  • Plan and execute recruitment and marketing activities to promote our services and achieve targets.
  • Deal with student enquiries and provide professional consultation services.
  • Liaise with universities and students to track applications, arrange interviews, and field general or specific enquiries.
  • Visit students off-site for counselling and information sessions, distribute leaflets, and participate in recruitment events.
  • Be available for ad hoc and regular company training and deliver information sessions at company meetings.
  • Maintain good communication with colleagues and keep the centre manager informed of application statuses or problems.
  • Undertake other relevant tasks as requested by the centre manager or the company.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:

  • University degree in any discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent sales skills.
  • Strong direct marketing skills.
  • Strong sense of market knowledge.
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Responsibility, maturity, reliability, and honesty.
  • Commitment to teamwork but also dependable enough to work individually with minimum supervision.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Network or customer base in the local international student community would be a distinct advantage.
  • Permission to work in the UK by the start of employment.
