**Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust** offers an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Clinical Psychologist** to join our team in North Cumbria.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with expertise in working with children and young people with eating disorders. The successful candidate will work within our Children and Young People's mental health service, providing high-quality therapeutic care to patients and families.

The role involves working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures. You will be responsible for providing supervision to Psychologists, Trainee and Assistant Psychologist, and CYPs Clinicians.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and promotion of the service through various initiatives. We value creativity and co-production with the communities we serve.

**Key responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic care to children and young people with eating disorders
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and service policies
  • Provide supervision to junior staff members

**Requirements:**

  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology
  • HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
  • Experience in working with children or eating disorders (desirable)

**Salary:** £76,000 - £98,000 per annum
