About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterilisation Technician to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a Sterilisation Technician, you will be responsible for the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments and providing sterile procedure packs and Endoscopy for the Trust and its community.

Main Duties

You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of decontamination and sterilisation, working closely with our Sterile Services team to provide a safe and efficient service. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and adhering to strict quality control procedures.

About Us

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust operates from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital - as well as a number of community healthcare premises. We provide a range of General Hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and Consultant-led services.
