  • Develop and lead a best-in-industry scientific/medical capability for the advertising team
  • Provide strategic leadership for the medical copywriting team, ensuring scientific knowledge and content creation excellence
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure a cohesive approach to client projects
  • Construct and communicate strategically aligned scientific narratives to drive award-winning creative
  • Review and provide critical feedback on creative and associated materials
  • Lead scientific pitch research and presentation, emphasizing complex narratives and scientific/medical pull-through
  • Offer counsel and recommendations to clients, navigating medical review of creative work and brand/account planning
  • Maintain high-profile visibility as a scientific and creative expert across multiple therapy areas
  • Develop therapy area and/or brand scientific strategy in collaboration with the Scientific Strategy Team
  • Initiate and lead internal/external workshops to solve complex scientific problems and foster strategic alignment

Qualifications

You are an established scientific and creative leader with extensive heritage in medical communications and advertising. You have demonstrated ability to leverage scientific knowledge into creative execution, innovation in problem-solving, and mastery of therapeutic areas. You can produce strategically aligned scientific narratives, lead a team to deliver the same, and support the creative team to leverage scientific insights into award-winning creative.
