About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Skills Trainer to join our team at Adecco. As a Digital Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality digital skills training programs to adults, ensuring that learners achieve their goals and develop the skills they need to succeed in the digital economy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and effective digital skills training programs, including face-to-face and online delivery.
  • Work closely with learners to understand their needs and develop personalized learning plans.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Skills Team, Curriculum Development, and Quality Teams to ensure programs meet demand and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems to track learner progress and support quality and data teams.
  • Contribute to the development of learning and delivery materials for courses within the digital offer.
  • Ensure all course delivery and support materials are ready and available ahead of planned delivery.
  • Participate in the self-assessment process and contribute to the effective implementation of the Quality improvement plan.
  • Encourage learner participation in regular feedback surveys to inform quality improvement.
  • Undertake professional development and training to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the Skills and training services delivered.
  • Carry out all duties with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Positively promote equality of opportunity for staff and learners.

Requirements:

  • Relevant digital qualifications (e.g., Data Analyst/MI, Digital Marketing, Cloud Computing/IT, coding, cyber security)
  • Minimum L3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
  • Experience of studying at level 4 or above
  • L3 Assessor Award (or equivalent)
  • Experience of designing and delivering digital programs in the adult education sector
  • Relevant industry experience in the digital sector
  • Experience of face-to-face and remote delivery
  • Commitment to personal development and learning
  • Ability to manage own workload, anticipate, and escalate issues as they arise
  • Strong administration skills, ability to record information accurately and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written, including patience and empathy
  • Active listening and ability to assess, understand, and tailor information to individual's needs
  • Ability to work as part of a team, support colleagues, and promote excellent team spirit
  • Caseload management skills, demonstrate the ability to plan and organize time and tasks effectively
  • Strive to succeed and maintain a pro-active attitude
  • Support a culture of learning and excellence that will promote our values
  • Support the team in the implementation of innovation and change to ensure they deliver a high-quality, efficient, and profitable service
