About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our refurbishment team, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of high-end residential projects from inception to completion.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee all financial and contractual aspects of residential refurbishment projects, including cost control, risk management, and value engineering. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery and provide expert advice and guidance on financial matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial and contractual aspects of residential refurbishment projects
  • Prepare and manage detailed cost plans, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure cost efficiency and value engineering
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Monitor project progress, manage variations, and ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Negotiate contracts, manage procurement processes, and oversee subcontractor performance
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing clear communication and financial transparency
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in high-end residential refurbishment projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Central London's construction market is a strong advantage
  • RICS or equivalent professional accreditation is desirable
