As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities, in accordance with our operational requirements and industry best practices.
- Leading and developing a small team of front-line maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Developing and implementing maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Coordinating and executing planned and unplanned shutdown activities, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
- Collaborating with our production team to maximize operational availability and efficiency.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements, simplifying and standardizing maintenance procedures to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Lead and develop a small team of front-line maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate and execute planned and unplanned shutdown activities, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
- Collaborate with our production team to maximize operational availability and efficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, simplifying and standardizing maintenance procedures to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- HNC/HND with significant experience gained in a maintenance role.
- Proven maintenance experience within a complex operational environment, such as power generation or industrial process.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with 2 years of leading small workgroups.
- Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and PLCs is an advantage.
- Familiarity with High Voltage switching and control concepts is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience of complex integrated plant and equipment commonly found within continuous process industries, such as power generation, cement industry, and petrochemicals.
- Specific Furnace/Boiler and/or rotating equipment experience is a distinct advantage.
